Narrow your search by using AND, OR, and NOT, and grouping with parentheses. For example:
- quilting thread
- finds pages containing 'quilting' or 'thread' - and that's a lot of pages.
- quilting or thread
- same as above
- quilting and thread
- finds pages containing both 'quilting' and 'thread' - and is most likely the page you want.
- quilting not thread
- finds documents containing 'quilting' but not 'thread'
- (quilting not thread) and applique
- finds documents containing 'applique', plus 'quilting' but not 'thread'
