Who are we?

Once upon a time when I was dealing with burn-out from a high stress job I'd just left - by quilting of course - I became frustrated at not being able to find the fabrics and notions and patterns I saw in the quilting magazines..... So as it became time to figure out what I wanted to do for my next career..... I figured there had to be other frustrated quilters out there...... and since I live in a very small town and didn't want to move (after all my apple trees were on the verge of producing fruit)..... it had to be a mail order business. We've now outgrown the house and have an actual store.

Why the name?

Our goal is to bring you products that are great values - high quality, reasonable price, and/or really innovative. Those are the qualities of a kickass product.... hence the name.

Canadian eh?

Yes - and that means U.S customers will pay about 5% less ( depending on the exchange rate the day the charge to your credit card is processed.) Note - you also don't have to worry about the pesky G.S.T. (More detail in FAQ)

Returns

No problem on most stuff - if it was my mistake I'll give you a full refund including the postage..... If you just change your mind I'll refund everything EXCEPT the shipping. Books and patterns are an exception...... They can only be returned if the wrong item was shipped.
